    It said in the trailer before the fight he was 31, his only loss during that period was to Vince Phillips.

        im a massive film fan so i heard about this movie ages ago. i forgot about it until now actually. apparently before wahlberg they wanted brad pitt for the role.

              For anyone who plans to go see it, DON'T go to see it for the Gatti fights as from what I've been told they don't feature at all.

              So don't go and be dissapointed... see it if you want to see Micky Ward's story.

                      Brad Pitt was actually in the running for ****ie when Darren Aronofsky (director of The Wrestler, Requiem for a Dream, The Fountain) was still attached. Wahlberg was always going to be Micky.
