Why is David Haye rated #3?

Its really kind of amazing to think about. What has he done to make him the next best person after the Klitschko bros?

    Monte Barrett...boy thats amazing.
John Ruiz...who lost to Valuev twice(although controversially)
and then got a gift over Valuev.

Holyfield beat Valuev more convincingly than Haye did, so if he had gotten the nod(which he deserved), would that have made him #3?

It's because he's ducking the Klitschkos, actually. Chagaev was #3, then he got dropped in rank after losing to Wlad. Chambers then was the new #3. Chambers of course then went on to lose to Wlad too.

Haye is #3 right now because the guys who were ranked higher than him actually had balls to go after the Klitschkos and were defeated, not because of any merit of his own.

For his cruiserweight resume, a win over still top 10 Valuev, and Ruiz. Combine that with a thin, weak heavyweight division outside of the Klitschko's, Haye having a belt, and you have Haye #3.

I personally think that your success and failure at a lower weight should be taken into account when judging where someone should be in a ranking when they move up.

Wladimir TKOd Barret and who in their right mind would want to watch Wladimir vs. Ruiz? That'd be the ultimate snoozefest.

Barrett has clearly improved and is in his prime right now. He got a DRAW with David Tua.

                    A ****in DRAW!!
