I like Amir and think he's a tremendous talent, despite his weak chin; and I hope he wins. I also like Maidana, who has tremendous heart, is an effective pressure fighter, and has a big punch. People who judge him on the Corley fight are delusional, as he was clearly not fully fit for that fight, but you can bet your bottom dollar that he'll be fit for the Khan fight.

It's a very intriguing fight, and may the best man win. Whoever wins, I'll give them props after the fight.

But you can't give Khan much credit for taking this fight, in the light of the way his people lied to the press, saying that Maidana was pricing himself out of the fight, when he was only asking for what he was entitled to, and saying that Maidana wasn't Khan's mandatory when he was. It's obvious to any unbiased person that Khan was hoping that he could turn down the fight and then claim Maidana had priced himself out of it. But Maidana called his bluff by ensuring that Khan either fight him and pay him the amount he was entitled to, or be stripped. He'd have lost all credibility if he'd vacated at that point, so he had to take the fight.

I give him no credit for taking the fight, but I will give him props if he wins. It will certainly be his toughest and most dangerous fight to date.
