i for one is cool with catchweights as long as both fighters agree and are still within the division weight (ie, both martinez and williams are between 155 and 160)...by the way, if you look at fights that recently happened, many boxers didnt make the max weight limit, but was still withing the weight range...if you can make the max limit, thats great, but shouldnt mattter if you cant...as long as you're within the weight range...then that should be all good peeps, ok?

catchweight doesn't really bother me... both fighters are natural 154 pounders, which is where they are most comfortable at. martinez waxed williams in the first fight.. williams did ok, kept applying pressure and landing actually more punches... but they were pitty patty compared to the shots martinez was landing.. martinez was landing WIG SPLITTING shots compared to williams' pitty patty punches... if the judges don't favor reckless aggression and volume punching over effective punches, then martinez should win the rematch somewhere along the lines of 116-112... haha and to think williams wanted 50/50 with pavlik... that's why once pavlik withdrew from the fight, they had to move the williams/martinez match to a much smaller venue in AC, and only like 1 or 2k people came out... if it does down in DC it will show even at home williams can't sell ****...

williams did show heart, chin, and stamina... but i think martinez severely outclassed him... i give both fighters there props, they are what we need more of...

martinez wuz robbed ugly , williams is a big goofy giraffe and his punching is more like slaps and are very sloppy. they should stop giving williams all these breaks hes overrated , not a ppv star and franky hes not very impressive . he is not tommy hearns.I hope they dont rob martinez again, its pointless to protect williams like that .gayweather nor pacman are going to fight him whats the point??? in fact if he has a loss hes more likley to score a fight like that.

I can see the Paul Williams haters are out in full force again. A guy that was ducked by all the WWs despite being a champion and has fought and beat everyone from 147-160 that he has been matched up against. A guy with pure class that is great to all of his fans and isn't an egomaniac or fake gangster. Yeah, let's hate a guy like that.
