interestingly enough, a guy he should have deserved a decision over at 48 is getting a title shot today, 13 years later.
    pretty crazy.

Wladimir vs Ali would have been a competitive fight
    .
Holyfield is right now **** to the HW division,I dont care about Valuev's paper belt.

So was Foreman at 45 years when he lost to Tommy Morrison and landed his lucky punch on Moorer blown up 175 ass.

Actually he was not KTFO out, you should check your facts, Studnek stepped in the ring. On the other hand, I am pretty sure Wlad will not have pugilistic dementia when he retires, unlike Ali, the defensive "genius" who lay on the ropes and let the other guy punch himself out on his face.

Don't forget, Ali was the bigger man in most of his fights, much more than Wlad.

      Wlad > Ali

      Don't kill yourself now.

I thought Ali had Parkinson's? Thats a genetic disease. The punches wouldn't have helped though.

Never. He hasn't faced enough competition to do it.

There is no chance, ever, that Wlad could beat the Ali that knocked out Liston.

really?? im not even a big ali fan, for me joe louis was by the far the greatest of all time, but you cannot compare a prime wlad to a prime ali, wlad has hardly a taken a live opponent, dont get me wrong thats not through choice, im not knocking his achievements, he has still done great, and he is a great boxer, but until i see him there with somebody who is really dangerous i wont know how good he is...and by the state of the heavyweight division now, that dont look like any time soon

In only in a small proportion (around 10%) of cases is it known to be genetic. And people who are subject to severe head trauma, such as boxers, are many times more susceptible to Parkinson's than the general population.

When did I bring up Holyfield? oh well, Im glad you did anyway, because hes another great example

Valuev definitely lost to Holyfield, and although Valuev was certainly NOT the best fighter at HW he was top 5.

heck, Haye is rated #3 behind the Klitschko bros, and he probably should have lost the Valuev fight.
but people refer to that decade which was 'two decades later' as defining lewis and tyson as well as being far better than todays. you're basically saying the 80/90's were crap too.
no, Im saying that the 70s was better than the 80s/90s in terms of Heavyweight talent.

at least Moorer got a win over a non-45 year old Holyfield, who should have gotten a win over a top 5 guy today.

The Klitschko bros are great HWs. but the rest of the division is bad.

Wlad has no chance against Ali...any fighter who can get inside will KO Wlad.
                    Ali would toy with him...
