As for Haye, then any chance I'd give him would be pretty much eradicated by Wlad's excessive holding.

The more i see Wlad the more i dont even think Haye has a punchers chance, Haye would probably gas before the 3rd round.

I liked it, but I am a big Wlad fan and generally enjoy his performances.

He threw more hooks and unleashed the uppercut, it was nice to see from him.

I am sure he could have ended it earlier because right when Steward told him to get Peter out of there he did easily.

His style is boring. He gets away with grabbing and holding when his opponent trys to attack him. He also gets away with his straight stiff arm which is illegal but when he's in germany they never bother to warn him about it. I was a big Wlad fan but he went to this style ever since he got knocked out by Corrie Sanders. it's not pretty to watch but hey it work for him.

first off clinching is legal and is an aspect of boxing

You've got to give him credit for really trying to put that knockout together in the last round. I've talked a lot of crap about his boring style in the past, but even I can see yesterdays fight was a good one for him. You could see after round one Peter was going to take a lot of clean right hands that night and possibly get knocked out.

That fight was dreadful boring but that was Peter's fault. His offense consisted of falling into clinches and praying for twelve rounds after two. Wlad ended it well.

I agree about him throwing something other than a 1 2.

But I don't agree about proving anything about him not being boring. That fight dragged on way too long.

He carried Peter much longer than was necessary.
