Since Povetkin, Adamek, Boytsov, Haye, Solis, Arreola, and Dimitrenko are not available in December, it's okay for Wlad to take a stay busy fight with Tua.

Is there any truth to the rumor that Tua injured his shoulder before or during the Barrett fight? And if "yes," does said injury prevent this fight from getting made?

If so, who is left for Wlad to fight? Mormeck or the winner of Chisora-Sexton?

I think if Chisora beats Sexton convincingly, which I think will happen, then maybe he can get the shot. But then again, is Chisora even ranked by the WBO/IBF? And will his handlers want to take such a big challenge early on in his career?...

I hope the rumors about the injury were just excuses for the bad performance (against Barrett) and Tua gets the nod.

Sexton is ranked #13 by the WBO, so if Chisora wins on Saturday, he will replace him in the rankings.

              Timur Ibragimov
              Sam Sexton

I just looked at boxrec's top 25 to get a feel of who is who in the division.

I'd personally like to see the brothers get down on Odlanier Solis and Alexander Povetkin, with Alexander Dimitrenko and Denis Boytsov as their backups.
              Agree with this 100%.

The people who voted on this poll are ******ed, because Adamek, Povetkin, and Solis will not get in the ring against Wlad right now. Tua is the only one on this poll who has the cojones to get in there with him even if he takes a beating. And he definitely deserves the pay-day that goes along with it because he is a true warrior.

At this point if a heavyweight fighter has lost to someone not named Klitschko it's pretty safe to assume they won't be beating a Klitschko.

I think Solis would take the fight, but I also think he would demand significantly more money and Boente has already indicated that the opponent's purse demand will be a significant factor in the decision.

Solis is probably hoping to gain mandatory status with the WBC at some point in the next year so that he can be assured a guaranteed split against Vit that is above and beyond what he can expect as an optional defense for Wlad.
That seems like a good analysis.

I don't understand why the overwhelming majority of voters prefer Adamek. The way I see it he has no chance at all. He is too small and does not have the power to gain Wlads respect.

True, but he's earned the title shot, defeating some tough, prime heavyweight opponents like Arreola and Estrada.

He was a light heavyweight titleholder and the Ring champion at cruiserweight.
