I dont like MMA vs boxing threads in general, but Fedor actualyl has history of getting hit early in the fight. Bloodied nose by Rogers, cut by right hand by Lindland, was getting outstruck for a round by Arlovski...

Wladimir keeps range well and has very quick straight punches, and also can hook off the jab very well. mma fighters generally have trouble evading those kind of punches, and its always better to keep your distance away from the takedown.

the mma guy should be favoured in an mma fight, but Wladimir should actually have a semi decent chance in the fight.
Wlad's jab alone can hurt like hell with small gloves on, its dangerous.

No offence but Wlad has the perfect style to get taken down and beaten.

Tyson would be more suited because he is stocky, fast powerful and weaves.

Wlad is a cautious guy. That **** doesn't work in MMA if you're a boxer.

Mercer did OK because he was always a puncher.

Wlad is a systematic puncher.

The guy I can see who has a chance is Vitali who knows kick boxing. Strong and big.

Possibly Haye who is strong and fast. With 4 ounce gloves he can knock a fair few out, but he will have to go all out and not this defensive stuff right now.
