that is what kellerman is really sensing when comparing gamboa to naseem hamed. overwhelming arrogance.

if you're a true fan, you ride that ship until it sinks. he's fun to watch so i'll continue to root for him unless he's fighting someone i like more...juanma, for example (Viva La Southpaws!!!).
Gamboa will never lose me as a fan. Im just pissed off. Until it sinks baby, against who eva!!!

the weight issue is small really, the real issue that everyone seems to be overlooking is salido himself. the dude is a solid fighter, he really is a veteran hes been in there with some solid fighters including Juan Manuel Marquez who according to scorecards he won 3 rounds against, he beat Robert Guerrero but was stripped of the victory post fight as well as beating Cristobal Cruz for the IBF crown. Orlando isnt the best fighter in the division by any means but hes a solid older fighter who knows all the tricks, he had the experiance to not get caught up in a lot of what Gamboa did...a lot of that flash that Gamboa brings. people need to give Gamboa his props he wnt in there clarly won the fight, people wanted a knockout but this guys never been knocked out hes always been in fight no matter what fight he was in. a solid win over a very solid vet AT THE AGE OF 29. and just in case anyone was wondering i dont believe Juanma would have looked any better in there with Salido much less knocked him out.

The same 140 according to HBO but like ppl already said its a BS rule with no reasonable explanation, they should be able to come in at whatever they can comfortably perform at after a weigh in.

I guess starved weight drained fighters is a good idea though according to the IBF.
