This writer, donovan, is an idiot. Gamboa was fighting dirty, and hugging like a coward. He´s supposed to be a superstar, haha. He hit salido while he was down, on the neck. Good thing salido is mexican, he stood up and kept fighting. If he were black, like the dominican in the fight with soto, he would have stayed on the canvas.

Lots of things i dont like about Gamboa in this fight and overall

First of all he keeps putting his hands down and acting ****y.

Second of all he has bad footing at times and keeps getting off balance, mostly with a wide left hook he keeps throwing

Third he keeps ducking and slipping punches with his hand down and it looks cool but an accurate puncher would catch him.

And he seems to lack disipline at times which i find every suprising

And he hugs too much... like a coward. It´s OK to hug if you are getting hammered, but hugging after you land a punch is just a coward tactic in my opinion.

Gamboa is the man, ppl tend to forget that Juanma was out on his feet against Mtagwa, and almost got decapitated by concepcion, this is boxing and they all use some tricks, theonly one that I never saw using any dirty tactics was Arguellos. I didn't like when he hit salido on the floor, but Cortez should had being closer to stop the action and give Salido a count, as it turn out, that save Salido of a possible ko, he got time to recup just like in the round before, when he got cut. Stop the bashing, hay Gamboa para rato, just like Rigondeaux, Lara, Acosta, Garcia, Perez, Ugas, ya vienen llegando, They have arrived.
