I wasn't impressed with Gamboa at all last night. The fight was lame and he didn't show this more controlled disciplined style that Kellerman kept referring to. Hell, I wonder if he could even beat Rafael Marquez now. At least Rafa has a better defense. I'd probably favor Lopez over him now too.

I think Rafa beat Gamboa.
Rafa got a good chin, power, and he is very smart in the ring. He would pressure Gamboa and break him down.

i would love so see gamboa vs cjris john or celestino caballero but if he fights those guys or juanma the way he fought last night hes getting ko cortes is done as a referee gamboa was rabit punching salido all night never deduct a point and in the 12 round when salido was down hitting him on the canvas and behind the head that should have been a desqualification imo cortes should not be allowed to referee a fight again

he was very confident vs a game salido. if he faces juanma i got gamboa by dec. he wont make the same mistakes vs juan. just like i dont expect the same juanma that almost lost to matagwa.

i have never seen a fighter with the hand and foot speed that gamboa has. and that includes pac and floyd.

gamboa is fun to watch.

he is very fun to watch. but i think at this point chris john will beat gamboa and juanma. people tend to sleep on johns. but the dude is a complete fighter with good offense and defense and good pop. with more time under his belt, no one beats gamboa.

Gamboa vs JuanMa- when it happens one thing is certain, it'll be a damn good fight. And with Gamboa's weak defense being exposed in the salido fight he better come correct cause JuanMa will tax that ass! After watching that fight the saying, "Hands down, Man down!" came to mind.
