Gamboa fought a good fight. Max was unnecessarily harsh on Gamboa just because he wasn't fighting like the second coming of a prime Roy Jones every round. He handled Salido's pressure better than, say, Lopez did against Mtagwa or John did against Rocky Juarez.

Salido didn't give an Oscar worthy performance like Dirrell did.
