I feel bad saying this but Hearns should continue to fight and so should Holyfield....My reasoning for this before I get bad Karma from everyone is that how come boxing doesnt have Corporate sponsorshipm, no retirement funds, no medical insurance and just plain no damn benefits.
Until boxing establishes something like that fighters young and old who should not be fighting anymore/anyway are going to continue fighting regardless. So as much as I dislike seeing the "Hitman" and the "Real Deal" continue fighting I say they have to and unfortunately I see them both getting injured and nothing coming out of it, it's as simple as that.
Also how can you tell a fighter who is in great physical condition not talking about being alittle over weight or punch drunk, I'm talking a boxer who passes all the physicals that are given to him that he can no longer box because he is too old, take Foreman for example he made the problem in a since what it is today by becoming champion at 40+ years old, why cant other fighters do it? But too all fighters that do continue past their time Good luck and God Bless!
