Thanks, Greatest. I'm glad Manny's not adding credibility to this. I love Tommy, too, and as an old man, I know how hard it is to let go of the idea that you can still do what you used to be able to do. LOL! BTW, I spent a year in Detroit a couple of years back, it's INTENSE! Colder than a well diggers ass, especially if you're comin' from SOCAL, and depressing as hell. The whole place looks like the set of some post-Apocalyptic sci-fi flick. But hey, if that's where your dream is, go for it! And have FUN! -

and btw GodzHand..I don't want Hearns to comeback, but I got to support him...
True, I was upset about Holyfield continuing, but **** if I wasnt at the T.V. begging him to throw a punch against Larry DonaldComment

He should've definitly stayed retired. Is it just me or is he already speaking slower and showing a lot of signs that won't indicate anything good?
Now I really like Tommy and he's one of my all time favourites but he was never known for being the smartest guy around. They should protect him from himself and take away his license.Comment

i was at the fight, and he only looked good in comparison to the man he fought. any expectation that he would beat a top level fighter is completely unwarranted.
hearns is my all time favorite fighter, and the fact that hes my hometown boy is only the half of it. but if you watched the NBA finals and saw the shots of Tommy sitting in the crowd you can tell that he is well past prime physical shape, he looked like he wieghed 210.
that being said, so long as he doesent try to fight anyone good i dont mind seeing him fight, at least its something i can go watch.Comment

Yeah but he put the smack down on a guy outweighing him by at least 13 pounds and years. Pretty nice, though I don't support his comeback.Originally posted by theirononeYeh sounds good but lets see how he looks any one can go on a diet and make weight even very old men, and even if he looks aewsome for his age so what he'll be more shot than sandy saddlerComment

He has given enough!!!
Thomas Hearns is my favorite fighter ever. But he is no longer the same Thomas Hearns. He has the potential to still fight if he is not matched with anybody good. Let me ask? What is the sense in that. Why? he has given the fight fans more than enough. He does not need the money. Why come back?Tommy looked good saturday.....for a 46 year old boxer. He would have been destroyed by the old Tommy Hearns. I wish that he would just hang up the gloves and go out on a win!!!!!!Comment
