Agreed 100% Beristain is a top notch trainer and even trained the Mexican Olimpic team back in the 80's. As a manager he is the main reason Top Rank is parting ways with the Marquez brothers, he is not very skilful in this department.

Morales will tear up Pacquiao in a rematch. Lets not forget Barrera's training camp was disrupted because of the forest fires in Southern Cali. 2 weeks before the Pacquiao fight. So I think we can all agree Barrera was not at his best.

Stop making excuses for MAB loss.
Ok, if MAB had an off night, why didnt he call out PAC for a rematch.
Or if JMM thinks he will beat PAC, why did he outprice himself out asking 1.5 million for rematch.
That rematch was his ticket to stardom and he walk away from it.

Wow!!! What a ignorant ****** ass comment you have just made! You are truly deserving of that bright red bar of yours. It takes big balls to get up from three crushing knockdowns in the FIRST ROUND and battle your ass back to almost shut the guy out the rest of the way. JMM may have fumbled the ball when he priced himself out of the immediate rematch, but in NO WAY is he a pansy.

With the chicken cluck cluck b*** Sh** aside, I think Pac Man will allways pose problems for Barrera for the simple fact that Barrera has problems with skilled lefties, If Paulie Ayala had any punch, he would of had barrera in a whole lot of trouble, because he landed his left almost at will. Had that been Pacquiao ( more speed + power ), there would have been another result. Barrera is always able to adapt, and will need to, if he is to beat Pacquiao.
JMM on the other hand, had problems with the left hands as well
but, adapted during the fight to almost shut Paquiao out after the first
awful round, and did it somewhat easy after he settled down.
The bottom line is , I believe Paquiao will probably win a rematch with Barrera, and wil definitely lose to JMM. If they can just get the politics out of the way.

He's over 30 years old, can he fight at least a couple of years w/ the same sharpness? The best thing he could really do is move up in weight and face Barrera, Morales, or Pacquiao.

Boy you sure like to make an excuse for each different Mexican fighter. JMM was knocked down 3 times versus Pac, if that was a 3 knockdown rule, Pac wins by KO, pac still won the fight, that fight was not a draw, pac got robbed. Then this BS about Barrera, Pac destroyed Barrera & he will destroy Barrera every time they fight. I'm a big fan of Morales, but you can't say he will beat Pac in the rematch. Pac lost alot of blood in that fight, he ran out of gas. Now to the the funniest thing you said, Castillo won the fight against Chico, I thought Castillo was going to get killed if the ref didn't stop the fight. So stop bitching about that fight, chico almost killed Castillo & you have nerves to say that Castillo won.

It remains to be seen... They have exchanged furiously the fiurst time and no one went down... I won't be expecting any knockdown in the rematch...
