its mandatory to use heavier gloves as the weight go up like 10oz for 147lbs this is to lessen the damage to each fighter as it is thought that the higher the weight division the bigger the boxers thus stronger the punching = more padding. thats one of the disadvantage to pacman, hell prolly slow down a bit and lessen his power upon impact.

Yeah its mandatory, it's not offical or anything just a few dudes telling me hes asking for 8oz, rules have been changed before so its possible but i doubt it, won't make a difference anyway.
