Keep in mind that Pacquiao is gonna be using 10 oz gloves and the extra weight may take away from his punching power. Just do what he does best, try and walk down the much smaller man. It ain't time to be experimenting.
thats what I was thinking, Margarito only knows how to come forward. Even when Mosley was whipping him he still proceeded to come forward in a bold attempt to walk Mosley while absorbing monsterous blows to the head.

        Cotto can whoop him imo.
You also have to look at Cotto's facial expression in that bout against Pacquiao, it really bothered him knowin' that he could not hurt Pacquiao, so then he elected to backpedal the rest of the way. For Cotto to be able to pull that off he's gonna need the mental strength, not to say that he's weak minded; because he isn't. Right now though...because of all the punishment he has taken in his career, I doubt he would give Pacquiao any problems.

Antonio should just pressure Manny every minute of every round with a high guard and only throw punches when Manny is close to the ropes or on the ropes. Use the left jab early and then use feints to get Manny to the ropes. And throw no more than 40-50 punches a round. Just be Antonio, but cut down the punch output.

I always said if he get's Manny on the ropes, he needs to lean on him too... However, I think it's easier said than done.

It may or it may not be. Margarito is going to try to crowd his space. I do not think Manny is a good inside fighter and I know he does not fight well going backwards. If Margarito does not take too much damage early, then he can impose his fighting style. Margarito has to conserve his energy early especially since they are fighting at a catch weight. People might not agree, but Manny does tire. Just watch the Clottey fight. Manny throws, throws and throws. With all that said, I am sure Arum would not have set-up the fight if he or Roach thought Margarito had a chance.

You sure because Manny is bum or tomato can and can't win otherwise they will not set-up this fight right? ***** logic How about Manny wanted to fight Mayweather but went into vacation? Arum would not have want to set-up this fight if he or Roach thought Mayweather had a chance, right?
