If Khan can make more money fighting someone else then he should just dump Maidana. Money is more important than the belt.

No Maidana didn't fake an injury, his team did then when Maidana found out he fired them. I'm not even a Maidana fan, just tired of the guy you defend coming up with every excuse and then those excuses being exposed. Maidana's one victory over Victor Ortiz is better than any one guy on Khans resume, which is a shame. Khan needs to step up and fight the threats in his division, not feather fisted fighters and old lightweights. I actually think Khan has all the talent in the world but it doesn't seem like he wants to test himself against a real threat. I'd have more respect for Khan if he hadn't himself said that the best time to fight people is when they are on the decline. How do you defend that?

It doesn't matter if he's rejected offers higher than what he's earnt before.

The fact is he felt he could get more money pursuing this route, and still have the fight made. Who wouldn't take the path that gives them the same fight, but also for more money?

And his loss to Kotelnik is what? Proof he can't fight boxers that are shorter than him?

The purse bid is fixed. Khan won't drop this belt its his ticket to the big leagues and a chance of all the glory that comes with unification and cleaning up a division.

This fight is happenning or Khan wouldn't be smack-talking. Remember the Paulie hype? Its even bigger than that and he's selling the fight the more smack he talks.

Like I said before, chances are Khan still gets what he wants based on his popularity and higher ranking.

Please provide the link where Maidana said he faked an injury. Cause from what I remember he issued a statement saying he didn't even know an offer was made to fight Bradley cause his team (whom he fired) were doing things without his knowledge.

His loss to Kotelnik is a loss to a very skilled boxer. What is Khan's loss to Prescott? Not to mention him being rocked and knocked down by fighters who aren't power punchers. Like I said i'm not taking anything away from Khan, the dude has crazy skill. But you gotta test that skill against the best, and if not the best then at least a threat in your division.

I just want the fight made. Khan's chin needs tesing at JWW. Cotto built up a much better resume in a shorter space of time than Khan has at this level.

Thats the bottom line. Problem is people start comparing Khan to Maidana and both have their failings and the only place they can be cleared up are in the ring.
