So the split will be 55/45. This is good news for Maidana.
He will get paid close to a 1 million (probably around 900k) for this fight.

Its hard to tell exactly what was going on when its one guys word against another. We don't even know how much exactly Maidana was asking for and how much Khan thought was fair.

Getting the WBA involved is good for Maidana because now he will get what he wanted otherwise Khan will be stripped. Maidana gets paid handsomely and gets a title shot so its win win for him
