Tbh I don't like this recent news at all but I come here too talk about boxing, not the drama of the boxers personal lives which we have nothing to do with. If I wanted to do that I'd b!tch somewhere else.
Wish everyone else was the same and just moved on, 95% of threads this week have been about this **** Mayweather has been doing, people are still even making threads about the OST , there's some great fights coming up and they've had 0 attention given to them because of it.

Plus Carlos Monzon is one of my favorite boxers, what he did was a lot worse then Mayweather has been accused of and I'm not going to say anything bad about him if Monzon did worse lol.

Like I said in the other thread there are some nice boxing fights coming up Its just that people on this board follow 2 fighters.

I wouldn't really say he is the man, some of the things that gets him hated is intentional and he gets props for that.

Some of the other **** he does makes him look like a failure as a grown man. Let people despise you for being arrogant, flaunting your success being great etc. that's fine and dandy.

That is not even debatable. Is like apple and oranges really IMO.

But, nobody should defend or try to justify Floyd actions. I would of founded disgusting to hear people defend and justify Monzon. Is one thing to like the boxer however you don't have to like the man. I find it ridiculous for posters to justify and defend Floyd on this point. Is like he can't do no wrong.

If somebody was like hey I am not a fan of him outside the ring I am a fan inside the ring than cool we all can move on.

I'm obviously not a fan of either of them outside of the ring and personally think anyone who hits women is pathetic scum, but obviously what Monzon did was much worse, I'm not going to discredit him on here so why should I Mayweather (If he did) when Monzon's crime was much worse. I just used Monzon as an example, not that I support what he did.

Again this is about boxing, not their outside lives.

No one should try to defend them like some have been doing on here oddly.

We don't know what happened but im sure it will all come out eventually and they we can all say whats up.

Personally, i dont know what to think, all i do know is, i dont follow a boxer for what they do in there personal life. Do i agree with it? Absolutly not. But will i stop being a fan and stop watching there fights? Absolutly not. I continued to watch every last one of Tysons fights after he was convicted of ****, i love Monzon, i have watched Valero's fight with DeMarco numerous times after what he did. I dont condone any of this behaviour, but again, i dont follow them because of there personal life. What we need to do is stop talking about Mayweather and Pacqiauo for a second, especially there personal lives, and talk boxing, after all this is a BOXING forum.
