The difference? Floyd has had only two catchweight fights, one being an exhibition match, while Pacquiao has had multiple catchweight fights while titles were on the line. People didn't criticize Pacquiao nearly as much as they have Floyd when he first started doing the catchweight fights. The intense criticism of Pacquiao started when he was earning titles and defending titles over and over again while not fighting at the correct weight.

I would prefer this fight at 154 but I understand why they've decided to do a catchweight. Floyd is 36 and jumping up and down in weight at that age takes a toll on your body. Canelo is only 22 years old and people are complaining about him being drained due to the fact that he is cutting TWO LOUSY pounds?

As for contradicting himself? We all do it from time to time. Now even Pacquiao is demanding more extensive blood testing. The same people who defended Pacquiao nonstop during the Floyd negotiations are now trying to imply Marquez was on PEDs when he KO'd Pacquiao. Which is ridiculous but goes to prove my point that we all can hypocrits.

Pac has only 3, and again took more non CW belts moving up than anyone.

But get this: just in 1 mega CW spectacle, Floyd will contest for more CW belts than Pac his entire CW run. That includes the biggie, the Lineal one. At a Catchweight. That's what makes him Undisputed in the CW stakes. If that's not enough, Canelo's belt came at a CW. Catchweightest fight of all time?

Did Floyd ask Canelo for a rehydration clause or not? If he did not, then your point is not all that strong, but it's the stubbornness that makes it ******ed.

I see you're a Pac fan, I wanna like you. But I wonder if this is how Pac tards got the name.

Some of us know how these prosecutors operate, they want to convict and build up there careers on people whether there innocent or not! An floyd was a big big name for one of those *******s to have on there resume!

No I mean this one, the "SWW" one. He's still holding the belt, and asking for a CW because the other guy is not blown up nor not past prime. I know it's technically not paper like Jones HW wasn't technically so, but both are in spirit. He's a 2x champ, he should have a pretty good idea if he can compete on level ground with the big guys. He fought a couple of guys that weren't so big or fresh, didn't like it, so now lineal belt at 152. He's telling you, I'm a paper champ at this weight. Why are you refusing to listen? Many Floyd fans already conceded, he's asking for the CW exactly cause he's a paper champ at this weight. They meant it in a good way, as an excuse though.
