Brandon Rios VS. Anthony Peterson: Why Nobody Talking About This Fight?

How good is Rios? Saw some footage, looks tough, will slug it out and throws decent punches. Does he win against Peterson? Your thoughts.

Probably gets outboxed by Peterson for 12 rounds, though I never seen Rios before. It's very hard to pick against technically skilled boxers though.

TBH I'm pump about this fight but there is just so much going on in boxing it does not get the attention it deserves...Umm I like Peterson in this fight..He is heavy handed and has good boxing skills...I think Peterson might be the next big thing out of the LW's.Soto wanted none...Arum just has to promote this kid right and I see big things for Peterson...

Peterson doesn't have the footwork to outbox Rios for 12 rounds.

It will be a really good action fight. Why? because I feel it will be fought mostly on the inside, each fighter basically taking turns opening up.

Peterson will jab when they are on the outside and when Rios closes the distance to get inside, he will get in his shell and try to counter off whatever Rios is does. Rios has a pretty good counter left hook and has some pretty good power and body work.

If Rios can either wear down and/or hurt Peterson, he will win the fight. If he can't, it'll be because Peterson's defense, counter combos, and conditioning were too much.

I seen Rios in Vegas on the eve of Marg/Cotto. He won by like 4th round kayo or something like that. Seemed pretty talented at the time, good hand speed and pretty strong. I don't think anyone is talking about this fight because we really haven't seen either in a high profile fight.
