No, it wasn't a straight 50-50. The '50-50' Wlad proposed was only the UK TV revenue and worldwide TV rights. He wanted to keep the German TV revenue to himself.

The UK Sky PPV revenue is the biggest source of income this fight is going to receive by some margin. Haye is a big star in the UK, so why should be give Wlad 50-50 of the UK purse, if Wlad won't share the German TV revenue?

Haye said he wanted 50-50 across the board, and Wlad refused. No more to say than that.

Does it take one fighter or two fighters to make a fight? So what you are telling me is that Gaye fighting Wlad will not mean anymore additional PPV buys than if he were to fight someone like Fraudley? Wlad, just by being Wlad, will double or triple the number of buys, plus he will double or triple the price of each of one of those buys. Instead of Gaye getting 900K buys for 15 quid a piece like he did vs the 40-year old shot ruiz, the fight against Wlad will probably do 2 million PPVs at 30 quid a piece, how dou not get this?
