Comments Thread For: Golovkin- N'Jikam?, Dimitrenko-Bahktov, *****ho, More

The WBA never actually said that WBA "interim" middleweight champ Gennadyi Golovkin had to fight Hassan NīDam NīJikam as previously reported. The WBA instead stated that Golovkin had to fight the # 1 rated contender - a spot that in new ratings is empty with NīDam as # 2. Team Golovkin have now offered NīDam a fight on the Pacquiao-Margarito bill under the same conditions they recently offered to WBC interim ruler Sebastian Zbik. Should a Golovkin vs Zbik fight come true, we might be looking at an historic unification fight between interim champs.

rooting for Bahktov! Sascha finally grew some ball to fight an old faded warrior.

hope the historic unification bout between interim champions gets made

WBA interim champ Gennady Golvkin ---v--- WBC interim champ Sebastian Zbik, baby!

Q: Can the winner force both, the WBA champ and WBC champ, to fight him? lmo

Sounds like a proper offer from Team Golovkin. Hope this fight will be made, because it's a much better undercard fight than Pavlik vs Edouard. N'Jikam will give Golovkin all he can handle and it will showcase Golovkin in his first step up in the pro ranks.

Zbik on hte other hand will not be allowed to be in the ring with Golovkin, since Universum might quickly lose another title (if you can call it this way).

but UBP will never allow him, Im just dreaming...
N'Dam N'Jkam should accept his offer, cuz:

fight on the Pac-Tony undercard in a big stadium>>>>> winning the ABC WBA belt against an unkown and beatable opponent

The only reason that they should be unifying interim titles is if martinez and sturm are fighting...

NīDam has already turned down a similar offer from Golovkin for a fight to happen in late July. His manager demanded 600k or a purse bid should be held..
So i highly doubt it will happen..
