Am i the only one that thought that the jirov fight was stopped before jirov had a chance to fight back? It seems to me that he stood up too fast and so he wobbled but that by the time he walked to the ref he was as close to perfectly balanced as is humanly possible.
who thought jirov stoppage was too early

I think his only mistake was his pride. He wanted to show that he was not hurt and the ref did not buy it. -

Honestly, he did not look ready to continue; I may be wrong though; ...
but Tiger will come back.

I think jirov made the mistake of getting up so quick like judah did...jirov looked in bad shape but when the ref told him to walk forward jirov looked alittle better..i wish the ref would have gave jirov 10 more seconds to try to fightComment

didnt be ton this fihgt but had a feeling Jirov wold be wasted in late rounds and lose
anyway when i first saw it..i did think it was a fast stop, but when you see it in replay he was slipping and didnt have balance...see what u get when u pull a judah and get up to fast...and thats not pride..thats ******ity....there no shame to stay down until 8 so u can get ur self under control...it wont change that u were KD if u get up fastComment

I think it was a wrong stoppage.
the ref should have stopped it when Vasili first got up and wobbled back
not after he asked him to come forward and Vasili did so
bendy knees or no, he should have been given the benefit because his head was clear not his knees
His head was on and he raised his hands to show he could fight on.
When the ref asked him to come forward and he did and then he waived it off
i said to myself WTF?
why ask a fighter to walk forward and stop it,
Not saying Moorer wouldn't have a good chance to finish it
but Jirov could have survived the round and hey who knows
he could have run the rest of the way and perhaps win
although that is not in his nature.Comment

It would have been irresponsible for the ref to let the fight continue. He looked in Jirov's eyes before stopping it.
Jirov was doing the white boy version of the Judah shuffle.Comment

what where did you get that ****** comparison from
he got up fell back on the ropes and then raised his arms and walked towards the ref
i must have missed the part where he got up his legs gave way and he seemed to resemble a chicken and fell back down to the canvas, head firstComment

Damn I was so pi** because I went to bed at 5:00PM only to wake up two hours later to watch the live taping and FSN has no sound. So I went back to sleep and watched the 11:00PM replay. I think they'll show it again this morning at 6:00AM (Chicago time) and again at 8:00PM.Originally posted by abdiel2k3i missed the fight
but since u think it was early
im guess you guys had some points riden on this fight
Anyway I too think it was stop too early. He was still wobbling, but I've seen worse before. If it wasn't stop, I say he has about 50% to make it through the remaining of the round. He was leading the score cards on all judges. But he made a big mistake by getting up too fast. But it can't be help, it happened many times before.Comment
