Floyd's pull counter is a thing of beauty. Cotto's left hook to the body hasn't seen much light in the last year or so, but when it connects it's one of Boxing's most devastating punches.
Better signature move: Mayweather's pull-counter or Cotto's left to the body?

I really like them both. I do believe that Cotto's punch is more effective and he puts so much mustard on it, but Mayweather's pull-counter is much more difficult to pull off and is more impressive to watch.

i dont know why other boxers dont use it more often (pull-counter).
I chose that one..
i actually do that when i used to get into street fights..i had the habit of letting the other guy throw the 1st punch..when he did..it usually was a straight left or right..i would just pull back and come back quick with a straight right to the nose or throat.END GAME. sorry Spider from Central Park and Ruben from LMC..lol
But u can counter that pull/counter pretty easily..once u see thats what Floyd is doing more n more..just feint that left jab..let him pull back a little and come forward with a straight right...or u can let him throw the counter but block it since u know its coming and let him duck around..step over with the left..turn to the right a little and come with a wicked left hook to the face..easy peezyLast edited by TxHustla; 09-09-2010, 03:32 PM.Comment

The only guys Cotto has landed his left hook to the body against lately have been Gomez, Jennings, and Foreman after he tore his knee. Where the hell has it been against the top guys if it's his money punch? He needs to learn how to throw it without fear of eating an uppercut in return.Comment
