I'd choose a great left hook to the Liver over any punch really.

    Voted for Cotto.

The Pull counter is special stuff BUT Cotto's hook to the body has proven to be more dangerous.

Mayweathers pull counter... i've never seen anyone else pull it off.

The roll afterwards is technically nearly perfect. He did time again against Shane!!!!

Cotto needs to use it against the top guys first. He only used it against B opponents like Judah, Quintana, Foreman etc. It was non existent against Mosley, Margarito[C level], Clottey[who is also a B level fighter], and Pacquiao.

Mayweather on the other hand uses it against any fighter, C, B, A, small, big. Doesn't matter who you are, he will do it. Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, I think even DLH, Corrales for sure, they all tasted the pull counter. What's a signature punch if you can only use it on weaker opposition?

whats more noticeable about Floyd in that vid..is he used to throw combos or come back with a left after countering...more aggressive and willing to fight back in the day...

look at the Marquez,Mosley even Hatton and DLH fights..he counters with that 1 punch..and stays away..womp womp

The pullcounter is something you would get taught in the gym, but in the heat of the moment you wouldn't be able to pull it off without years and years and years of dedication to the craft. Think of it like this if you had a video game character and you could choose your special move, you wouldn't choose a better version of a punch everyone else does, but you'd probably choose the flashier and more unique move...at least I would.

Cotto's left hook is devastating but as stated before he hasn't done it against a top level opponent in the way Mayweather has countered top level and fast guys like Mosley.

I voted Mayweather, simply because I think it requires more skill to do that than throw a left hook. I can't help but wonder if Floyd does it when someone double jabs... if you face plants like that into a Cotto jab I can see a Clottey type knockdown.

I voted for Cotto simply because I'd rather get hit by May's pullcounter than Cotto's liver shot.

Mayweather moves so graciously when he attempts it...hard to vote against it...but I'd still rather eat that counter than a Cotto body attack
