why people bring up floyd when Hatton almost got KO'd by Collazo before he fought floyd.

Really Hatton almost got KO'd by Urango before he fought floyd...you know the same Urango that Devon Alexander knocked the **** out with an uppercut.

Hatton is known to have a ****ty chin before he fought floyd.

Lazcano was also trained by Freddy roach when he fought hatton.

    • In most cases I would give it to the fighter that beat the guy first. Of course it just depends on the circumstances but both beat him convincingly and since we don't know what Hatton had left after Mayweather, I have to side with his victory. I also disagree with your post about Hatton having a great win after. Against Lazcano he looked awful and against Paulie he looked better but that style of matchup suited him well. Mayweather took the confidence of Hatton away.

Beating people first has nothing to do with anything. No fights in history go by who beat someone first. Why do people question what Hatton had left after Floyd? What did Hatton have left after the Collazo fight?
How did Floyd take Hattons confidence away? Is that your opinion? Did Hatton tell you that? He sure was confident about beating Pac, he said he wanted to impose his will, strenght and size on Pac from the outset. Nothing about tip toeing around for the first rounds against Pac.

Speaking like you have confidence is a bit different than fighting with confidence. After the Mayweather fight it was clear that Hatton had lost his fighting confidence and even against Lazcano he was a bit slower in his movements to brawl and more cautious. Being more cautious allowed him to be more open to hit and Lazcano took advantage of that. Your first loss usually hurts but the way Mayweather dismantled him and picked him apart systematically really did a lot to Hatton as a person and as a fighter. A part of him was lost in that ring.

Yeah yeah i heard it all before. Especially when it comes to pac from *****s. Cotto was never the same. Morales wasnt the same, wasnt in his prime, yeah sure sure. Against Laczano Hatton had a cold didnt he?
That may have a little bearing on things. But hatton still had enough in the tank to beat decent opponents after losing to floyd. Nothing can justify being sparked in 2 rounds by Pac though and i wont hear any excuses.
Floyd wouldnt have beat hatton in 2 rounds if they fought again. If Floyd beat hatton in 2 rounds in their second fight, it would be a better win than the first fight.
                No more excuses!!!!!!

                • What im saying is it isnt possible for Floyds win to have more credibility for all the reasons ive mentioned.

Ive tried to be fair and have asked just what would Pac have needed to have done to get more credit then, and i get no answers?

Pac destroyed Hatton in 2 rounds, so if that dont impress you, what would Pac have needed to have done? Knock Hatton out in 10 seconds perhaps? Im given people who are given Floyd more credit an opportunity to defend their decision.

Ive heard nothing credible in response!

Be the first man to beat him instead of getting sloppy seconds~
