man, you know i have a west coast bias...it would take a lot for me to hate on a west coast fighter...Fernando and his antics did that early on
my cousin's ex lived in Oxnard and we we've seen Fernando and his mob act ****** at parties...i've even seen him thuggin at Magic f'n Mountain of all places...he was a good fighter in the ring but that's the extent of my 'respect' for El FerozComment

Yo I feel ya dawgy.....but some of us (my boy Chuckguy and I are in the same area) have had personal interactions with this kat.......and let me tell you....I respect the hell atta him as a boxer...in the ring.......but outside of it....there is no denying it.....the dude is a major douche bag......he has alot of people in his hometown saying the same thing too......the kid bought into his own hype and was walking around like he was the second coming.......
gracious in victory and even more gracious in defeat....I live by that credo....true story!Comment

The more I browse about people having encounters with Vargas the more I see people come out and say what a scrub he his out of the ring, one would think the beatings he took from Tito (and others) would humble him, I guess not.
Now Tito on the other hand, I heard that dude was always a class act in and out of the ring, I wish I could have met him in person.Comment

I felt the same way. Especially after I knew Tito had already cracked his chin but I still rooted for him over Oscar even though he had no chance.Comment

I have heard that too about the legend from Cupey Alto. I been to a couple of his fights but never had a chance to personally meet him talk to him. I wish one day I could. The more I browse about people having encounters with Vargas the more I see people come out and say what a scrub he his out of the ring, one would think the beatings he took from Tito (and others) would humble him, I guess not.
