2008-10 pac beats current thurman and spence imo too fast workrate was insane and had good power

just realised how old this thread is by skipping back a few pages the good old days of ppl hoping floyd and pac will fight little did they know it would be a stinker

Yup. That's what every floyd stan say.
A Philippino fighter gaining star power for nothing.
        Yup. Makes sense. What's new?
If that is all it takes to be a real fan of the sport.
Then any drunk guy in the street corner could be a fan.

You mean between his losses to Marquez II and Marquez 3

His wins over DLH , Hatton and Cotto was were overrated tbh he fought Clottey and Mosley in normal weight and he didn't look as impressive

DLH one I agree he was half dead

I think the Hatton one at 140 was a good win fair enough ricky was coming off a loss to floyd but he wasnt shot to bits he was still a good fighter and pac laid him out stone cold

cotto was a good win cotto went on to have a 'decent' run years after that fight so had plenty in the tank and gave floyd a good fight too years later CW or not a good win

he made clottey shell up for 12 rounds

mosley was not a great win or fight

also the margarito fight in 2010 was one of his best wins despite the size difference he beat that man so bad his eye fell out

again im not a big fan of pac but i have to admit at his peak he was a machine

His resume isnt overrated at all but his " newfound boxing skills " are really exaggerated by his fans.

Pacquaio was blessed with speed and explosiveness. He was never a skilled fighter and hasnt evolved all that much.

People think Pac is some technician nowadays but he is far from it.

Pooch is a good fighter and borderline HOF fighter, but he's not an ATG. Dude ducked drug testing harder than the plague and was very average versus live opponents who weren't coming off bad performances/losses

You should watch the Hatton vs Lazcano fight and read how Lara was doing him in sparring before Pac fight....Hatton was shot

Wtf are you on about? Were you reading that as if it was in chronicle order? You prick i added the margarito fight as an afterthought because the person i quoted didnt mention it unless.. you actually believe he fought mosley first which took place in 2011 haha either way dont be ****in dense

As for you claiming it wasnt impressive you should pull up an old thread pre fight a lot of fans were saying its a step too far given the size difference margarito came in at 165lbs on fight night is 5ft 11in and pac him half to death
