Future p4p #1?

In two years time when Floyd and Pac have retired I see these being P4P:
Andre Dirrell
Amir Khan

Juanma Lopez
Saul Alvarez
But 5 years from now...it's going to be Eastern European domination time, no doubt. Along with the likes of Jose Benavidez and Frankie Gomez.Comment

P4P best will be one of these guys
Featherweight- Gamboa, Juanma, Caballero, John, Rojas
Lightwelterweight- Bradley, Maidana, Ortiz, Alexander
Whoever dominates their division first.
Personally Im counting on Juanma, only two division champ on that list.
Of course I cant forget of Sergio Martinez either.
In 5 years time Martinez will be 40 years old lol Unless Mayweather or Pacqiauo give him a shot i really cant see that happening.
Something about JuanMa i like man, i don't know what it is because i think hes very very beatable but everytime he fights i want him to win, i hope he becomes a top guy down the line.Comment

Andre Ward gets my pick, i think he will win the Super Six, gets a few more big wins under his belt and after Mayweather and Pacqiauo retire he will fill the vacancy.Comment

Agreed, whoever comes out on top of those divisions has a strong case. And if Andre Ward comes out on top of the Super Six and then goes on to beat some other super middleweights (Bute) and Light Heavyweights (Hopkins?), he is a very strong contender.
Personally, I think it will be between Ward, Bradley, Khan, Lopez, Gamboa. Dawson, if he can rebound from his loss to Pascal, I still believe he has what it takes for P4P supremacy. Mares is very good, but also in a very tough division. For Benavidez, 5 years would be too early, but he definitely has the potential.
Edit: Nonito Donaire will be up there too!Last edited by rochemback; 09-08-2010, 05:52 AM.Comment
