Basically khan had earnt a mil a fight already. Maidana has earnt like 350k. Beggers can not be choosers. How are you going to ask for 50/50 or maybe the bit ch has asked for more? Khansmmanager said he asked for 1mil uk pounds which is 1.5mil dollars. If the pot is 2mil from hbo, and the gate will be in the uk, then it will be uk fans, and most for khan, then why the hell should maidana even get 50/50? Second thing is, khan is the champ, that alone should factor in this fight since maidana wont put that many people on their seats. Basically khan is the draw here, if it was maidana vs someone else, would 2mil even be offered by hbo? I doubt it. Heck thats whT they offered bradley vs alex right? The other issue is, it may go on uk ppv. It wont do great but again, this would be due to khans selling power. Maybe maidana thinks he can sell more than 5 ppvs here, who knows? If Madaiana wants no short end, which is 50/50, then it will be 1 Mil also.

I think 60/40 in favour of Khan is fair, or maybe a little more for Maidana if Khan is deciding the date and venue, requiring Maidana to travel to the UK.
