Beats me why Miranda gets fights. He was promoted well and talked a lotta trash. He was hyped up. Prescott was sorta shoved to the side after he beat Khan. Maidana has KOed 1 dude of note just like Prescott....yet you consider 1 of them a puncher and the other not?

I know Prescott is a big puncher because Ive ****in watched him fight, its that damn simple. I dont base everything off boxrec.

He remidns me abit like Holt or someone who have a hard punch but not the best boxer in the world to land a shot.

Prescott wouldn't be able to Knock out any of the top guys based on boxing, but if people stood toe to toe with him, he will have a good chance to knock them out. Similar to someone like Madiana IMO.

Vs the bums he has faced who wared with him, he created a great record.

Vs Kotelnik and Corley who can box, he didn;t look at dangerous.

Pavlik hits ahrd no doubt, but Miranda doesn;t have a great chin for me, and Taylor has been exposed himself.

I don't think that he has the type of 1 punch KO power like AA though.

He hits like a maul, while someone like Tyson hit like a shot gun.
I'll take a mans word who said they seen him fight more then once or twice and not just making idiotic post and only seen the man fight once...But I don't Pav use too look like he hit hard..Like his gloves was filled with bricks..I think he stop training like he use too...AA does hit like a maul tho...But I'll take that Prescott being like a Holt...I've never seen Prescott other then two times..You can't tell if someone is a big puncher from seeing them that amount of times IMO...

There we go now that's the way the post..Have you seen him other then the two fights?Cause I've not and by those two fights he did not look like a big puncher IMO..Maidana also KO'd Cayo who was undefeated and had good boxing skills..Cayo is a talented boxer make no mistake...So that's two good boxers and Drop Chop Chop which is also not an easy thing to do...I doubt Prescott does it..

I don't even believe Prescott stops Kat's TBH and Kat's chin is shaky..

Yeah ive seen a few of his fights. Hes pretty *****. He wont knockout anyone good again cos hes an average boxer. He still can punch, he just doesnt know how to set them up. He just launches these wild ass winging hooks. Khan was young and inexperienced, he rushed at him and wasnt prepared to deal with someone like that at the time.

But hes still a puncher. I saw him for the 1st time in the dressing room before the Khan fight hitting the pads and just from that, I could tell the mutha***a hit like a mule.

Pavlik does indeed hit hard, just that he can't deal with boxers which showed once again.

Prescott's not huge on world level just incase I gave that impression. He has been outboxed and does lose steem, but he's like 5 foot 11 or something and 135? He's tall and from what I ahve seen, Columbians tend to be quite strong.

Someone like Katsidis hits harder than him I feel, but he puts on more pressure. Again he was outboxed by Juan Diaz, so that shows that boxing is not just about power.

Yea when I seen him hitting the pads I thought he hits hard..Then after the Khan fight I felt let me see him again but in his next fight he looked pretty ****y I was like this guy sucks...But I agree he won't be knocking anybody of merit out but he could ****...But I'm basing this on you and Painkiller just to let you know..I've never seen the kid other then the two fights I've mention but if he showed some power but no boxing skill in his other fights I'll take he is a big puncher then...I would'int mind seeing him again against a diaz or a Soto...

I think he hits hard, he just does not put a lot of disguise on his punches, see his last fight? if you watch that fight you would put money on it that, that guy was not going the distance, simply because the shots Prescott was landing looked like thunderous punches.

Prescott just gets too wild with his punches at times, see him against Mitchell? there were times when he was literally hitting Mitchell in the back with his body punches because he was getting so wild.

To be honest with you i dont think his skills are that! bad, like Tito, he just fights very predictable because! he is always looking to load up, to take you out, however he can counter punch to a degree when he is not trying to hammer you.

Watch the Khan fight, Khan throws a punch at him, he catches a throws, thats a transition from defense to offense right there.
