Do you think Hopkins saw flaws in pascal for the reason he jumped on the fight?

HBO turned down a Dawson-Hopkins fight so I don't know how true that claim is.

They turned down the Jones rematch too but that didn't stop it from happening and flopping in a major way. Hopkins had plenty of opportunities to fight Chad - at one point HBO was pushing him to do so. He just didn't want to.

No they didnt, Hopkins claim there wasnt enough money in the fight and that HBO didnt offer a lot for the fight which i dont believe, Hopkins wasnt really that interested in the fight.

I thought Pascal showed yall how good Chad REALLY is.....Chad is athletic enough to cause B.Hop a lil' trouble but he's not SMART enough to get a W against him....Chad gets walked into traps all night against B.Hop....no joke

i disagree because hopkins fans rate him top 5 in the p4p rankings...he should be fighting the best lightheavyweights out there...not slow, blown up middleweights like pavlik, who only serve to make him look like ali in there...

If he could barely make a way past his prime RJJ look bad then a fight against a top lhw would be a boring affair. Hey i don't really want to see B-Hop anymore at this point, but i definately don't want to see a fight he has no chance in.

B-Hop is not making any extra money fighting Pascal in Montreal. It just looks better.

dude make up your mind...first you say hopkins takes chad to school...so that would be about bragging rights to me...we not talking about pavlik here...that was one of his usual cherrypick fights...we talking about dawson...a top lightheavy that everybody on here wanted to see him fight..

neither one of 'em brings much to the table..., and in my opinion hopkins hasn't really proved much despite being considered by you and his biggest fans here still a top p4p fighter...so yeah it would have made me (and a lot of other people) happy to see him fight chad (he got enough dough ripping off people) give some of it back...oh yeah he did do a charity fight against that middleweight (insert chad)
