My friend that's wishful thinking, even before his fight with Cotto the man was barely a blip on the Mexican radar screen I can only imagine how much more a dive his popularity has taken since then.Comment

Jack why are you taking it there. has nothing to do with manny going broke.
My point is Manny's last ppv didn't sell as much as expected. It does hurt manny at the negotiaiting table because it his bottom line numbers (ppv sales and live gate) are not in line with his popularity.
what they make is none of our business
assuming you talking about Floyd, call it 50-50, period
both can bitch all they want but neither deserves anything more
nobody else can demand equal money with Pac, so it's moot
this shit is gay, fuck what other men are making
buy it if you want, if not, plenty ways to watch PPV for freeComment

How would you know? Mayweathe-Mosley made more at the gate than Pacquiao-Clottey and Pacquiao-Clottey had more than double the fans. That proves that there is a huge demand for Mayweather tickets because the fans are willing to pay a lot more to watch him fight.Comment

if floyd can get 50 thousands to watch him why didnt mgm sell out for his fight and mgm is only 17 thousands?Comment

PPV is more or less an American institution (Canada and PR included), and the vast majority of Pacquiao fans are Filipino for obvious reasons. Still, Pacquiao is a PPV powerhouse despite being foreign and having English as his second language. He's averaging 1 million buys in his last 4 PPV fights.
If they had PPV for his fights in the Philippines, he'd routinely have buys in the 3-5 million range probably.Comment
