****m is right. if the two never fight the majority of the public will hold floyd as the main reason the fight didnt happen. As for the ATG, legacy talk, what ****m also says is true. If floyd never fights pac & both retire winners, pac will be held in higher regard both by the public & boxing establishment. Pac already holds that position now as we speak.

It can also be argued Mayweather ducked Margarito and Cotto, who Pac is soon to be in the ring with. Cotto having already been dominated. There's a lot of gray area with this stuff.
