There's no excuse for the Williams-Martinez rematch not being finalized by now.

Every web site says it's Paul Williams holding the fight up. If it was just one, then it would be easier to defend Williams. But it's every fucking site there is.

Umm maybe working on the deal.

**** outta here bro. Stop ****ing trolling. When Williams signs its "he had no choice"..when he doesnt its "hes scared".

Yeah I hope this fight get's done soon, I don't understand the hold up?

Both guys seem like born fighter's I'm sure they too both just wanna get it on as soon as,
Especially Williams, His last fight was a joke. He has been inactive since he last fought Sergio.

Sergio got 12 rounds out of Pavlik at least...

MAYBE, just maybe, it has something to so with Floyd Mayweather? Just saying. I want to see Williams Vs. Martinez 2 because i think as the first fight was so close Martinez deserves a 2nd shot, you really cant blame either fighter we don't have a clue whats going on behind the scenes. I hope this happens.

That problem would've been eliminated if he didn't make it clear that his intentions were avoiding the big dogs at 154 and 160.

As for the second part of your post, maybe Martinez felt like if he fought an immediate rematch with him he'd have a tall mountain to climb with another biased judge or two. I've pointed what you addressed out even though I might've not made a thread about it. And when was the second time Martinez turned down Williams? I thought it was just to fight Pavlik.

Goosen went on LITR and broke it down. Martinez turned him down to fight Pavlik. Then when Mayweather said Martinez was a "possibilty". Martinez turned Paul down again.

Now can you blame him for fighting Pav for the belts or Fighting Floyd for the money? No you cant.

But you also cant sit there and act like Paul is afraid of him when he offered him the fight twice.

Williams probably offered to fight Martinez while Martinez was contractually obligated to fight Pavlik again if Pavlik excercised the rematch clause. But now after that shaky ass performance against Cintron it seems like he's having second thoughts.

Williams' first choice was Pavlik too. Funny how you leave that out. Williams priced himself out of the Pavlik fight....just like he is doing now.

Williams is just stalling his demise, it's inevitable though
