How does Flores deserve a big fight? He has not fought in over a year and he had fought no one before that. Some one also posted that they hope Flores exposes Green. The problem with that is Flores is the one that has to prove himself because Green has by a long shot fought the better competition. Even a shot Roy Jones was better competition than anyone Flores has faced.Comment

This will be an interesting fight and hopefully a good one at that. It's the classic scenario of a young untested contender stepping up to challenge the aging veteran.
Flores' main advantage will be his size. Green is a small cruiser, generally weighing in 15 pounds under the 200lb limit. Apart from that, a lot of things will be in Green's favor - experience/quality of opposition as well as a hugely partison home crowd (and judges).
I held Green in very low regard after the Briggs fight. If this fight comes off, all will be forgotten. As a sporting fan I have a short memory...Comment
