But LaMotta wasnt a welterweight silly, your whole argument is silly. You still havent named the peak, great, natural fighters Floyd could have fought because there are none.

I Know exaclty what he is trying to do. Anyone with a brain understands the issue and the norms with which we measure boxers. Robinson being a welter and beating a great middle weight while weighing in as a welter, is an even greater feat as he was outweighed by 15 pounds.

But of course BhOp does not get it. so you can continue to debate him.

My father always told me who is the bigger dummy, the dummy or he who argues with a dummy.

HMMMM i will let bhop's position on this topic arrest my case....

Not to mention LaMotta was only 20-21 at that time as was Robinson but I dont think anyone would have considered LaMotta great then or if they do now.

LaMotta didnt even weigh in at WW, he was a middleweight. They go to no end trying to focus on Floyd.

My point is yes there fighter that other greats have fought that met my (according to you) very tuff to meet criteria. it is just that Mayweathr for whatever reason has feasted on fighters that are not peak and at their best weight. Simply look at every opponent he has faced since Castillo. Sure they may be good fighters, but they are not like peak trinidad or peak Dlh, moslye. Or hearns, or haglr, or duran..etc. .

Name the peak, great, natural fighters that he was supposed to fight but didn't since Castillo at 135.

                Still waiting.........

ur an idiot. find where i said lamotta weighed in at ww??editi found it, my fault that was a mistake) ur the one using boxrec to back up a weak argument.

first of all, at the time u are talking about, weight classes were nowhere near as static as they are now. yes srr weighed at ww limits in a lot fo their fights, but its totally different than weight classes today, because he would have never been allowed to fight lamotta in this day and age. which is totally amazing. but ur comparing apples and oranges. robinson was more than a ww, he weighed many dfferent weights and i think he fought lamotta at such a low weight because it allowed him to outbox him more effectively. robinson is a god of boxing, but u dont understand his sitory enough to use him in your arguments so stop it.

Your not on my back. It is funny that you all cant name one fightr..You all are looking like moe, larry and curly fidgeting around because it is checkmate.

Your cousin bhop just said no one considers jake lamotta great

or that robinson beating lamotta when robinson was a welter and Lamotta was a middle, does not count.

No you cant answer a simple questin either.

This like game set, match, checkmate, what ever you want to call it...
