I know. I actually watched the fight. Burns outclassed Martinez. A couple of the ricans were bitter and claimed robbery even though they hadnt seen the fight.

Nice touch by Martinez to applaud him on the announcement. Class act.

Mitchell couldn't down I don't think, not really excited about that fight to be honest. I wonder if Frank will feed him a bum or a really hard challenge?

            Hey PRboxing ....

Why a rematch? This was a unanimous and clear decision. Let Juanma Lopez give Caballero a chance. hahahaha. Don't think so ... nitramzaid@hotmail.com

Martinez would win in a rematch. Ricky Burns is not that good, but atleast he reached on of his goals in life. He is a champion, and its definitely something that alot of fighters won't ever experience. Martinez isn't anything special either, but at times it seemed Martinez could have taken Burns out.

I don't see why a rematch should be totally out of the question, no matter how uncompetitive the fight turned out to be. It was a fantastic fight, but Martinez was the Champ that travelled to the opponents yard. However, unless Martinez' team failed to stipulate a rematch clause into the contract...i don't see him getting it.

Warren will be protecting Burns at domestic level for a few defences, until an offer comes through for a big money fight that will eventually have to see the title at risk.

I don't see Burns keeping that title the next class opponent he faces, but i wish him well during his reign, and thank him for putting on a great fight that puts a smile onto the British fight fans.

to think it was a robbery is a joke! what a fight and both fighters had chances of finishing it
