He lost because he got completely outclassed and knocked out.

Trying to play off those excuses is a joke. Trinidad was always too one dimensional for Hopkins. None of those factors would of changed the outcome of that fight.

Come on man... This is some BS! Hopkins was invincible at that time and he walked through Tito and thats the only way I'll remember it...

And if he remember correctly, Tito tried to cheat that night too as Nazzim made him rewrap his hands twice that night...

I always liked Tito but come on man get over yourself...

True say. Trinidad got dominted and showed nothing which would imply that he could beat Hopkins on any night whatsoever.

The proof is in the one sided fight.

                Coming "clean" would be saying

"He has MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better footwork than me"
"I kept coming in straight ahead instead of at an angle"
"He kept hitting me over and over with straight right hands"
"He kept his right glove next to the right side of his head to block my left hooks"
"He was more experienced at 160"
                "He kicked my ass"

I'm a huge Tito fan. The type of fan that use to invite family and friends and gather close to 13-18 people in my house and have pre-fight parties for every Tito fight. Tito's fight for me was an event.
Having said that, there is no way that Tito would had beat Hopkins, that night, or any other night.
Tito was outboxed and out classed in that fight and probably would had been worst in a rematch.
Tito at 160 was going to have serious problems because his power would not be as effective as it was when fighting 147-154 lbers, and that was his bread and butter, although I would have loved to see a fight between Pavlik and Tito. The styles of each fighter would had provided a possible fight of the year.
