Pacquiao and Mayweather are pretty close in the 20's IMO. Neither will get in my top 10.
Who Will Mayweather Be Grouped With In History?

Yes, but he will also notoriously be remembered for ducking the best fighters in his era... especially if he winds his career without fighting Pac.History looks back at what is accomplished and not so much the trashtalking, sportsmanship and everything outside of the playing field. that goes for ALL sports. With that said, Floyd, years down the line when nobody remembers all the talking and is just looking at accomplishments will go down as one of if not the best of all time. mind you thats if he doesnt lose.
He will never escape this.Comment

he will be seen as a great fighter who was scared to test his skills. end of story. and ducked the likes of a prime miguel cotto and antonio margarito and paul williamsComment

I would put Floyd with the third level guys, and that's still saying alot. !st level would be:Ali, Louis, Robinson. 2nd level would be: Leonard, Hagler, Duran, Chavez,Frazier, maybe Foreman, Pacquiao. 3rd level:Whitaker, Lewis, Jones Jr, Marciano,Monzon, Hopkins, Mayweather. A few could be switched around and more fighters could definitely be added to each list.Comment

a loss means nothing in terms of greatness.History looks back at what is accomplished and not so much the trashtalking, sportsmanship and everything outside of the playing field. that goes for ALL sports. resume and performance mean everything. Did the fighter take on the TOP challenges available?
SRR did, Ali did, Armstrong, Duran....etc.
Mayweather didn't....plain and simple.Comment
