Reason is simple:
HBO doesn't want to air European fighters, or nonAmerican fighter for that matter, and thus are losing out on a plethora of intriguing fights.
The simple fact is boxing has left USA.
So it makes sense that HBO, with its proAmerican bias (and justifiably so, afterall its HQ'd in USA, so its natural they prefer to show American fighter) is showing sub par fights.
The best fights, these days, are happening outside of USA.
Thats why HBO is missing them.
