This is the biggest problem I have with boxing right now...

Today we had two WARS, Jan Zaveck vs. Rafal Jackiewicz and apparently the FOTY in Rocky Martinez vs. Ricky Burns.

and yet neither of them was televised(in the USA), and many people(like me) didnt get to see either.

now thats baloney, these are the type of fights that should be AT LEAST on the undercard of big fights, but the fact that they werent even televised is totally bull****.

Why cant these big time TV networks like HBO or Showtime or ESPN or ANYONE simply air these beautiful displays of boxing?

Well to be honest the only reason it was FOTY is because Martinez was overrated and came in with no energy and Burns has zero power. Against top competition both would get destroyed. Didnt burns lose to a ice cream sales man?

The only reason it was FOTY is because evidently it was an incredible war with the guys soaking up a ton of punishment, regardless of Martinez being overrated or not.

a good fight is a good fight, and both the guys are world class level, thats more than good enough for me.

It wasn't about skill so much but still this fight had everything! Heart & Will & Determination & Desire, to pull through to the final round. I feel your pain that you couldn't watch the fight though, it was a real cracker. I'd DL as soon as it's uploaded!

Im praying that it gets uploaded to Youtube or something very soon, it sounds like a real barnburner.

arrrg why couldnt such good fights be on big boxing cards? These are the kind of fights that boxing fans and casual fans alike LOVE to see! Big PPVs would be so much more worth it and so much more exciting with fights like these!

Fights like these, and the inability of North American networks to pick up these fights, made me a notoriuos stream watcher

WBVA will have it up later Irish, probably uploaded to the video section here also.

It's a big problem but there is hope, ESPN is now starting to stream fights we normally wouldn't get so if that goes well we can expect a lot of those Euro fights being streamed or televised.
