Originally posted by RimmyDelicious View PostI never thought he was racist, just an immature, insecure ignorant buffoon. Good for him for apologizing as what he said was undoubtedly racist. I have more respect for him than for his fans who are STILL denying his statements were racist, or that flagrant black supremacist, Hopkins.
Originally posted by romebyko View PostVery sad that he said these things anyway, but I'm happy he is trying to clear the air..May just needs to get the fight done with Pac and retire so he could stop doing things like this..I don't think we will see May fight anybody until he fights Pac in 2011..
Originally posted by -Huey- View PostThat was the right thing to do by Floyd, glad he apologized but I bet this stil isn't good enough for some here.
Originally posted by thatnickuh View PostSeriously, all of this fake outrage is pathetic. If racism is truly intolerable to you, then why haven't you boycotted this site? I've read things here that are many times worse, and I'm sure you have too. Yet you can tolerate the racism spewed here, why is that?
Nowhere in Mayweather's rant did he say or imply that Asians are inferior or that he's superior to Pacquiao simply because Pacquiao is of Asian descent.
This is why you all look silly getting on your high horses trying to act all self righteous and judgemental. For the most part, you all are just as ignorant as Mayweather was in that video clip.
Originally posted by Bong Bong View PostHe wouldnt have been more bad-ass if he didnt apologized. Now he makes himself more of a fool, or rather making fools again of people that he was "never a racist" with what he said.
Well Im pretty glad Floyd came out to the public and presented who really is him besides a great boxer that he has become. While ATGs would be mostly considered for their great boxing accomplishments, it will be hard to put him on the upper echelon of the boxing gods with these recent acts of his.
Originally posted by jswa17 View Posthow can these people still defend Mayweather? It's not even funny any more. It's STRANGE if you think about it.
There must be some strange aura about him that attracts guys, eats up their souls, makes them mindless ...

1) it shows that floyd is jealous of pac and his accomplishments
2) it shows that floyd is continuing to slander pac about PEDs
anybody on the jury that watches that video will have to conclude that. There's no other explanation for why floyd would come out with it when Pac is in heavy promotion for a different fight. floyd's legal team can't use ****** *****s argument about hyping up a future fight because nobody is in promotion mode 365. Floyd was just running off at the mouth and this is what and who he is, a low-life, jealous, slanderous, racist and bitter douche bag.
nothing 'regular' about *****s. they are low-life scum that look up to mayweather in and outside the ring. I mean, I can appreciate floyd's skills in the ring, but for *****s to defend this kinda behavior is just ******ed. It really shows what kind of people they are... ignorant low-brow ****s.
wtf??!!! just when I thought ***** hit the fan, *****s ***** through the roof. What a bunch of cantankerous losers.
exactly. fight pac you racist coward.
actually he can do this:
1) donate money to charities that help the poor and homeless in Asia, specifially the Phillipines, specifically the people of Pac's congressional district.
2) Join the NAACP and donate money to their cause
3) take some racial sensitivity classes
4) never utter another racist comment again
5) fight pacquiao
that's the whole ****in problem. even floyd acknowledged or was forced by his lawyers to acknowledge that what he said was racially insensitive and wrong, but *****s are so ****in thick they deny everything.
he only asked for forgiveness because he lawyers told him to. that's some old bull****. I don't even think he thinks he did anything wrong.
Its in those time when you are heated and worked up that you say what is really in your heart. floyd proves that he has jealously, bitterness, and racism in his heart. Floyd said what he said to try and hurt somebody. He didn't know what he was saying, but it was coming from his heart.
yep. floyd needs to have someone around him constantly to tell him to shut the **** up.

I could care less what any athlete does...
It has no effect on me whatsoever. The day it does have an effect on me, I may feel different.
Floyd is a high profile athlete, and shouldn't be on the internet making ******/childish remarks...Period. I know why he did it though. Just like most sane folks know why he did it.
Your may be right though, it may pass...Then again, the world we currently live in, may make him pay for those comments...

Originally posted by thatnickuh View PostSeriously, you need to sharpen your reading and comprehension skills because you're constantly misunderstanding what's being said. I said that you're a hypocrite unless you have been consistent in criticizing everyone that runs around this site making racially insensitive remarks. Calm down so that you can take the time to read and comprehend before you reply.
I'm not defending Mayweather, I'm challenging the hypocritical public. Again, your reading comprehesion skills seem to be lacking. Here's the inconsitency in your position. You called Mayweather fans who haven't come out and criticized him for his comments shameful and pathetic, yet you don't say the same about Pacquiao for not coming out and checking his legion of fans who constantly cross the line. Do you honestly think that Pacquiao is unaware of his fans' behavior and the racial insults that they hurl at Mayweather and his family? There is no way that he's not aware. You can't criticize Mayweather fans for not coming out against his comments and not criticize Pacquiao for not checking his fans, without being hypocritical. Team Pacquiao likes to promote the image of Pacquiao being a people's champ, a guy who loves his fans/people and fights for them. These fans/people reflect on him and you cannot deny that. If you feel as if it's Mayweather's fans responsibility to check him, then why don't you feel like it's Pacquiao's responsibility to check the people who support him?
If you truly "get that", then you would join me in calling the countless hypocrites who post here out. I'm not justifying anything that Mayweather said in that rant. I'm saying that Pacquiao fans are in no position to try and crucify Mayweather over that rant when they have said things that are much worse. Again, Why should I focus on making a big deal over Mayweather's comments when I see much worse being said here on the daily?
Why wait to hear Pacquiao say something like that to call him out when the people that support him say things that are much worse all the time? Seriously, if you're so offended by racially insensitive comments then why haven't you criticized Pacquiao for not checking his fan base? In my opinion, people aren't really all that offened and they're just jumping on this because it's another reason to hate on Mayweather. There's no way that you can read the garbage that's posted on sites like this, youtube, ect on a daily basis with little to no problem, and be deeply offended by Mayweather's rant.
If it makes you feel better I agree 100% all of us Pac fans and none Floyd fans are hypocritical, we all are closest racist. Now since we got that out of the way and you did your job in challenging us can you now criticize Floyd for his comments? Or are you going to still refuse and spin around with words like "challenging" "hypocritical" or phases like "criticize Pac"?
Speaking of which why should I criticize Pac for what some of his idotit racist fans says? I don't criticize Floyd for what his racist fans like Roxas(who hates Mexicans), Stones(who hates Israelis), Dios/GG Marquez/Al Haymon/Vito Corleone(who hates Pinoys) Bad news, Bhopreign, Haterfree(who hates damn near every race that is not black), or Morales(who hates white). All these people are Floyd fans, yet they say racist crap. I don't criticize Floyd for not checking them and I don't expect you as a Floyd fan to do that either. And, I won't criticize Pac for not checking his racist fan.
Now if Pac talks about Floyd and crosses the line with some ****** Kool aid, fried chicken, watermelon comment, or calls him a black chump not just a chump but a black chump or has any kind of monkey type of comment. If he ever does that you bet your ass I would **** on Pac to the fullest. But, not cuz he don't check his fans. Every single fighter has some racist fans and I don't expect them to check their rans. That is like really reaching IMO.
Like I said I could understand if Floyd was saying it to those idiotic fans but he was saying it to Pac who has never said anything with a racial undertone. And, even recently Pac took the high ground about it and didn't stoop that level.
Like I said you want to shit on the fans go ahead. But, also criticize Floyd for his ****** comments that crossed the line. Something that I still doubt you would do. Which is unbelievable to me.

hats offensive about him calling floyd a black fool?
But just few weeks ago I see two black kids around age 8-9 using "N*gga" as part of their vocabulary.
Point is, you can't ignore the fact that time changes and everyone is now over-sensitive, everyone suing everybody...it's the pu*syfication of America. This is why I'm glad Floyd gave a public apology and you should be too if you're a fan. Coz you know damn well if he didnt, worst crap can happen.

You know Chad Johnson got fined for something he said on Twitter. Athletes nowadays just have to be aware that everyone is watching you, and ready to make you pay for something they deam "out of line"...
Floyd now know this. Maybe he will learn from this. The internet will get you in trouble, and fast at that!

yep, floyd is low-life scum. all the boxing skills in the world, but a total **** outside the ring.
truth right here. take heed *****s.
he only apologized because his lawyers told him to
floyd is slandering pac once again about PEDs. This is gonna be evidence in the lawsuit.
I don't think floyd is repentant nor sincere or genuine, but at least floyd has acknowledged that what he said might have affected some people negatively. *****s still denying that any ***** went down. these ignorant low-life mutha****ers should be cut off from the gene-pool.
Floyd should've just kept his ****** mouth shut and fight pac.
Floyd wasn't even being sincere... he only apologized because his lawyers told him to
are you calling out boxingscene mods for not doing their jobs?
stop being a dumbass... he didn't say it explicitly, but the racial slurs and racially insensitive remarks imply it.
stop being obtuse. a ignorant person doesn't know how to shut his mouth, that's floyd and *****s. a person that isn't ignorant knows how to keep his mouth shut when he's in front of a live camera.
floyd is a clown and he makes all *****s look like clowns. I don't even know how *****s can continue to defend this guy.
he'll still be ranked pretty high ATG.... that is the *****s' only solace.
*****s are soulless and dead inside. you can tell a *****s from other regular people by the dead look in their eyes. even a ********** is one level above *****s.
treat him like a pariah... floyd has got some redeeming to do.
and a racist.
It wasn't a persona. he wasn't even promoting any fights. he said what he said, he wanted to hurt people. that's the kind of low-life scum floyd is. all the boxing skills in the world, no ****ing social skills.
