That rant that Floyd went on will increase the PPV sales for the Pacquaio fight to 2.5 million or possibly close to 3 million when they actually fight. If it is three million, 2.5 million of them will be paying to see Floyd. Advertisers know this and know his market value. They also have enough sense to know that Floyd is just engaging in the Floyd persona.

The WWF had the first and only 1 million PPV-buy wrestling show when Hulk Hogan took on the hero turned villian Andre the Giant. If Hulk Hogan had wrestled anyone else on that show, it would have sold maybe 250,000 buys. Being a villian works, especially when you have the talent and persona.
