Isn't $900,000 in the "neighborhood" of a million dollars??? Peter got owned in sparring with Wlad and he knows that the Sam fight is a little bit easier. I bet Peter takes the Sam fight instead for about $250,000, and Samil Sam will win this fight. Peter is in too much of a rush right now, but the different belts are ranking him there. That doesn't give him too much of a choice but to be rushed. I have a feeling that he will lose either fight because of his inexperience and become another shot fighter.

I think you meant to say, "Peter is not in too much of a rush."

Other than that, you hit the nail on the head. If Peter keeps winning against top 25 heavyweights and looking spectacular, eventually he is going to get paid big money with little risk.

Right now, Wlad still has millions of fans, mostly in Germany, who will pay to watch his fights. Peter only has minimal buzz among boxing enthusiasts.

If this fight was made at Madison Square Garden, Wlad would still be the fighter everyone came to see, even above Cotto.

Also, I see this fight going the same way as Wlad-Brewster.
