I'd jump in the debate myself, but he's already got that covered.
And most of Floyd's delusional ball lickers just can't be reasoned with, anyway. And I don't feel like wasting the time, or the calories needed to type out a worthy response.
Keep it up, man. Green K coming.
Is he close to or on par with Dela Hoya? yes..
Would he have been half as infamous if he didn't talk **** with his non casual friendly style? hell no
Now stop sucking the ts **** lol

there's a reason why.
He is the epitome of a selfish, dishonest, racist, delusional, scumbag athlete in the same mold of pacman jones, maurice clarett, chad ochocinco, & terrell owens.
He tries so hard to play the slick, charming, gift of gab ali persona mixed with tupac's grimey aggression & always playing the racial card like its 1960, yet his lack of intelligence to capably do this just make his lame attempt backfire.
He completely makes himself look like a idiotic, charmless, witless, boorish, & utterly loathsome boxing version of beetlejuice from the howard stern show with a mix of a coked out bobby brown.
Floyd has had several shoe deals~ with Nike/Jordan and Reebok.
You also should not put Ochocinco and T.O with known criminals~ TO and Chad are mouthy but they have never done any crimes~
Before opening your mouth educate yourself since you are looking a lot like Floyd right now~

1.- he dont have a shoe deal. he gets free shoes from reebok. that's it. its not the same as having a signed shoe deal.
2.- hulk hogan, the undertaker, the rock, & every major wwe star never got close to getting paid that kind of money but floyd did? for one night?
lol.......

As for the WWE thing Floyd was playing his character Money Maywether, you can deduce based on what Wrestlemania normally makes that he didn't make 20 million but that was all part of the show, he made a few million for showing up and being around the WWE for a month sicne you know they had to build up his appearence~

There's no doubt he is a millionaire, that he is popular but that could be increased by 10 if he was more intelligent. If he was more liked.
People think that it's an act the way he is but I'm not so sure because this rant on Ustream, while it will help the sale of the Pacquaio fight, doesn't do anything for him outside the ring.
Remember, DLH has made more money outside the ring because he is smart and the way he markets himself. Mayweather could be on the same level and it's not even close.

Look at how he acted when he was younger ; he was humble, camera-friendly, and an all around class act. He wanted to be Oscar De La Hoya - maybe not in terms of boxing, but in terms of success. That's what he wanted.
I don't expect you to understand that because you just joined this site last year, and you've probably only been following boxing for a couple of years, at best. But back in the day, Oscar was it.
That's what Floyd wanted.
And he still makes attempts to be that, if you pay close attention to his actions.
Things like "Dancing with the Stars", giving money to charity, working with underprivledged children, etc...
All those things are very respectable, and admirable.
But for every one of those things he does, he turns around and does something like this racist Ustream rant.
One step forward, two steps back.
The fact that you're even defending a bonafide racist is staggering enough, and yet you have the brass balls to call me a **** sucker?
Open mouth, insert foot.

Mayweather Crossed Over during the fight against Oscar
he is just not a LIKABLE Cross Over Star, but to say he is not a Cross Over Star when he draws like he draws when it comes to PPV Buys and money at the gates is just FOOLISH
a lot of people love the Bad Guy they love to root for the Bad Guy or they love to HATE the Bad Guy, turning into Money Mayweather during the Oscar fight made him into a Superstar, to make the amount of Money he has made and to do it without being liked and with a lot of Major Endorsements the man pulled off what most people would have thought would have been the "Impossible"
he learned that it is easier to get people to HATE you then it is to get people to like you so he used that to the fullest and it has worked FOR HIM, I don't think it can work for anyone else but him though, Mayweather is the only one that can remain a free agent and not sign long term with ANY Promotion and basically make HIMSELF into a Mega Star in Boxing and the Biggest Draw In Boxing
All Mayweather did is took his good friend 50 Cent mentality, persona and style and implemented into boxing and it has worked and most people haven't even noticed thatLast edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 09-03-2010, 03:30 PM.
