one Judge gave Oscar rounds off of EFFORT and the fans at Staples cheering for Punches that wasn't even landing, at one point in the match the fans was cheering at a flurry from Oscar, then when they showed the reply he didn't land anything, Mayweather was up against the Ropes laughing at Oscar during the entire Flurry

Duran was at his absolute best at 135 not 147 and even though he lost to SRL he also beat Leonard at 147 outsmarted Leonard in the process, Duran also fought defensive boxers at 135. Top defensive boxers at that weight in that era. Duran was also very smart, good boxing skills, underrated counter puncher. Maybe not on the level of Whitaker but pretty solid he just wasn't some one dimensional hard nosed SOB he could mix it up. And, what he did at 147 doesn't mean jack at 135 where he is arguably the best of all time. And, lets not forget that Floyd top 3 toughest fight of his career happened at 135.

Just 1? It is hard cuz there is a few that could do it. I am not going to count 154 since he only had a pit stop there. I don't think matching him against greats at 147 is fair to Floyd either sine he is not at his best at that weight.

He was at his best at 130 and I think unbeatable there. So I would go to 135 and chose Duran. I think Duran has a better chance than JCC has at 135/140 or that Pryor has at 140. My second choice would be Whitaker.

But, I am not going to name any 147 or higher fighters since it is not fair to Floyd. And, I don't think he could beat any true ATG WW at those weight-classes. He is just not at his best at those weights, he just not matter how much people try to spin it.

Oh... and maybe Napoles would of been interesting at 135/140.

Here is the thing at lightweight Mayweather had power too and everything you mention about Duran Mayweather almost equaled it. Let's not forget that Esteban DeJesus knock Duran down with a Left hook. I mean so Duran wasnt this unstopable force at Lightweight. He could be beat, and beat to the punch.

My thing is if he tryed to box with Mayweather he would lose. IMO
But if he went to went to war with him that is another story completely...

I think I gave him 4 rounds myself, regardless of that, the fight was closely contested. Mayweather deserved the victory however he did struggle and every round was tight. Oscar wasn't as cooked as he was against Forbes and especially Pacqauio, but he had been semi-retired for years, was 35 years old, and still showed glimpses of the attributes of his youth that would have given Floyd fits.

WTF!!! Really?? I can't agree with that at all. De la Hoya missed the majority of his punches when PBF was laying on the ropes and got dominated when the fight was in the center of the ring.

That fight will never be close.

Floyds problem with Hearns is that because of Mayweathers activity level the best he could hope to go with Hearns is punch for punch and I cant see how that turns out good for Floyd under any circumstance.

I was not a fan of De la Hoya but he was a very good fighter. The thing I always hated though is that he got credit his whole career for those flurries when damn near none of the punches was landing!!!! I hated that ****.

Dude that fight was not even close. If that fight is scored by the actual rules of boxing there is no way in the world De la Hoya was even in the fight 8-4 is the closest it could possibly be.

I'm not going to keep repeating myself. My view is that at that stage in Oscar's career, he was far from the peak of his powers. If that version of Oscar could win 4 rounds and give Floyd fits, I imagine that the prime version of Oscar would have won.

the fight was at 154, with 10 ounce glove, and De la hoya dictated all the advantages to himself. You name it he had it...

If Mayweather would have ask for a catchweight or to fight at 147.. De la hoya ass would have really been cook.. because Hoya was taking some flush shots from floyd that those 10 oz gloves saved him from..
