        Tyson was getting beaten up towards the end, Buster had been knocked down and Tyson couldn't finish the job. Douglas could NOT miss with that jab.

          It would have been much more dangerous than beneficial , under most circumstances , the downed fighter would have been downed again , more so in the cases when 10 seconds were not enough , so more accumulated damage would have been caused to those who could get up before 20 but not before 10 , i.e. the ones with determination and courage but no punch resistance.
          Therefore my stance is : leave it on 10 seconds .
          Many got up before 10 , which is the sign for "enough" .
