New Rule: 20 Second Count Out?

I meant it wouldn't have made a difference.Oh man, i disagree. When Don King was counting the seconds when they made the appeal, Tyson got up at 9 seconds but they counted him out!!
I guess we'll never know, maybe you're right though, Tyson probably would have got stopped on his feet coz i reckon his heart and pride would have got him up before 10 seconds.
Tyson was getting beaten up towards the end, Buster had been knocked down and Tyson couldn't finish the job. Douglas could NOT miss with that jab.Comment

It would have been much more dangerous than beneficial , under most circumstances , the downed fighter would have been downed again , more so in the cases when 10 seconds were not enough , so more accumulated damage would have been caused to those who could get up before 20 but not before 10 , i.e. the ones with determination and courage but no punch resistance.
Therefore my stance is : leave it on 10 seconds .
Many got up before 10 , which is the sign for "enough" .
Who knows ? maybe Busta would have knocked him down again .
It can be much closer to enough than 10 , but in many cases can still not suffice.Comment
